Help us support New Roots, a local non profit, whose vision is that affordable fresh food is accessible and enjoyed year round by connecting underinvested Louisville neighborhoods with local farmers.
Their community-driven Fresh Stop Program helps families by pooling their money and SNAP benefits to purchase in bulk from local farmers on a sliding scale. Each family then receives a “share” of seasonal produce which feeds 2-4 people, depending on the Fresh Stop.

We wholeheartedly believe in New Roots and their mission!
That is why we are running a raffle with total prize package over $1000 in donations from local businesses like Carmichael’s, Heine Bros, Why Louisville, & more!

Raffle Tickets are only $1 and are available at DKD Highlands. Come on in on Monday, April 20th to meet some fine representatives from New Roots and for the Raffle drawing!

Funds raised from the DKD’s New Roots Raffle will help launch 3 new Fresh Stops: Russel, Parkland, & Smoketown.
